Gifford Golf Club has been listed by Golf Monthly’s Jeremy Ellwood as one of his top 5 Best Hidden Gem golf courses in the UK & Ireland.
Jeremy Ellwood commented on Gifford “This lovely inland nine-holer often gets overlooked in the rush for the East Lothian coast. It shouldn’t, for it is delightful in every way, from the tiny clubhouse to the beautiful layout, which only the naïve will think is a pushover.”

For those of you who don’t know me I am the Junior Convener at Gifford Golf Club. Welcome to Gifford and I look forward to meeting you if I have not already done so.
Last year we (myself and committee) ran a very successful fun/information evening which was well attended by both juniors and parents/grandparents.
We thought it would be a good idea to get together before the season starts just to get to know each other and also to inform you what we have on offer over the coming season.
You will also get the chance to meet our captains / vice captains and committee members including our junior helper, May.
This years info evening is on Friday 7th April at 6.30 pm and all junior members are encouraged to come along with parents or grandparents. The format for the night will be a putting competition and quiz with pizza and nibbles.
Prior to the evening I will send you all an email with details of all the competitions/ coaching sessions and any other information I think you need so that if you have any questions you can bring them along on the night.
I should appreciate if you would let me know if you will be able to make it as soon as you can.
