Scotland had the first ever National 9 hole final at Milnathort in June and over 170 clubs registered for a chance to enter. Also, they reported that there are over 300 courses in Scotland with a designated 9 hole SSS to stage 9 hole medals.
So it was great to hear that Today’s Golfer included Gifford Golf Club in Britain’s top 50 nine hole courses. (Thanks to David Willox for spotting that).
Other news; congratulations to Peter Imre for progressing through to the quarterfinals of the Lothians Golf Association Matchplay competition.
