A good night was had by all and in general it was agreed that a Friday night was much more sociable than midweek. The matches were all played in good spirit and ended 4-2 in Gifford’s favour. We look forward to the return match on Friday 30t August.

A slight change to the format as weather was not promising. The gane was played in a greensomes format. Some new pairings but all matches were close.
The match finished 4-2 in favour of Dirleton castle, meaning the overal match finsihed 7-5 – Dirleton retained the putter trophy.
