The Ladies Section is a welcoming and vibrant group, with a shared passion for golf. Whatever your level of ability, and whether you prefer the competitive element of golf, or just appreciate golfing in beautiful scenery with good company, we have something for everyone. For those new to golf, or returning, we offer a supportive and encouraging environment.
We have two turn up sessions per week, a great opportunity to meet other women and to enjoy your golf with no pressure. For the more competitive, there are the 9 and 18 hole medals through the summer months, and a wide range of other competitions, including Knockouts and Opens. We also have at least one fun competition per month, a great way for people new to golf to develop experience and confidence.
Annually, we have the Weekend Away in the Spring, and a Day Outing in the Autumn. We keep going through the winter by taking part in a winter league known as the Winter Warmers. We also maintain strong links with other clubs and have regular inter-club matches, at home and away.
There truly is something for everyone at Gifford Golf Club. We look forward to seeing you!
